Sean's love for music started early. He often would travel with his father for work during summer. On long drives Sean recalls his father would play music by Ted Nugent, Bad Company, Robin Tower, and Van Halen. This early influence led Sean to teach himself guitar and vocals. Sean began performing in bands and writing his own original music

"I appreciate many genres of music but nothing grabs my soul like heavy metal. Master of Puppets was my first record. I had this drive to learn how to play and sing the entire album." Other influences include bands like Iced Earth, Trivium, Pantera, Judas Priest, and Anthrax.
